Truth Hurts
One of my favorite moments in Naruto is when Sasuke learns the truth about the man he was so desperate to put in a grave and the results that followed.
A Sight for Sore Eyes
Sasuke’s adolescence was cloaked in a crimson haze. Everything he knew, the family he cherished, lay dead on the floor. The darkest fantasy of the most wicked could not conjure such an atrocity. Though brief, this scene will plague his mind for eternity. His role model redecorated their lovely home with a scarlet hue and left everyone clueless as to why.

After being baptized in hellfire, the only true outlet he had was on the battlefield. And even then, the bruises blacken, cuts refuse to clot, and the woes persist.
Panels drip a black tar-like substance, showing how far he is willing to go for others. A life laced in combat at such a young age was torturous for most, and for those who were numb, they were already dead.

From my undiagnosed astigmatic eyes, I fail to see any salvation from this nightmare. God is deaf to the cries of the innocent as Sasuke’s humanity is stripped to the bone. Adventures and bonding could never replace the hole left in the heart. So why would he believe someone is trying to reshape history after the score was settled?
A Bitter Pill
Tunnel vision proved far more detrimental than one would hope for. Sasuke can’t even marvel at his work before he’s drafted into an all-out war with the truth. For him to adopt the notion floating about would rip the fabric of reality. Perception becomes meaningless while denial attempts to shield what little remains of his fragile ego.
Conceptualize the torment his soul is enduring presently. Beliefs that stood the test of time now flail in the wind. He’s already consumed with revenge and with moral judgment on the plank; this small convo may take him over the edge.

With the sight of a deity, he still couldn’t see that falsity was running rampant throughout his life. But matching pupils lets him know that this man may be telling the truth. But if even an inkling of this discourse is accurate, Sasuke’s sanity may be the last victim of the Uchiha Genocide.
Lunacy
The air somehow becomes thick with regret as Sasuke's ethos is reminiscent of his parents’ funeral. Contrition flows through his veins, making a mockery of flight or fight. His neurons are firing rapidly, battering him with hindsight. Lungs drown in sorrow as he cant come to grips with what he’s done. Dragged further into the depths of hell, he has no idea where to crawl out.
With the world spinning in agony, the walls are beginning to cave in. Sasuke's senses become muddled as his body flirts with a seizure perpetrated by honesty. Oxygen takes an abrupt exit, leaving Sasuke to suffocate on retrospect.

Despair is stealing the meager amount of spirit he has left. Nothing is real, as his presence is one with betrayal. Hesitation replaces assurance as the man behind the mask sets fire to chronicles of Sasuke. A piece of cinema apparently directed by Satan. The outline, story arcs, and character development were meticulously designed to lead towards dual-sibling misery.
A Brother’s Curse
His suffering devastates my comprehension, as the only person grasp this sorrow died in battle. A brother bond soaked in blood and engulfed in the unknown. Sasuke walked in hatred for so long, and when resting, his dreams were ravaged with vengeance. How can one accept that the murderer who perished by his own hand could be considered a victim?
Itachi (Sasuke's older brother) - love ran so deep that it hauled him into pure savagery. A facade so convincing it fooled the viewer. Selfish or not, protecting Sasuke meant doing something that no normal person would ever consider.

He lived for the thrill of killing him, yet on death’s door, he still reminded him that he would forever be his little brother. Itachi was coughing up blood everywhere and somehow maintained a smile. Dying as a villain while trying to give his brother some type of peace.
Each were political pawns in a game that could only end in disaster. Their lives were expendable to say the least. But what their superiors didn’t plan on was that the massacre would continue.
Burn Everything
A promise so singe all that stands for Konoha was given credence this day. It’s hard not to understand Sasuke’s perspective. Void of volition for his entirety, retaliation is necessary. His existence has been nothing but a social experiment for the worst. Serving punishment for crimes committed before he could even talk. His legacy has been dominated by those with authority, and now it’s time for him to control his own destiny.

To cleanse the land of tainted by an administration’s afflictions requires more power. A bureaucracy conjured a demon with its own treacherous nature. Washing their hands clean of mass homicide while they carry on with their day.
Why would he want to be part of a village that is married to deceit? A place where the contradictions rain from the sky, and where some see the value in carnage. Cowardly actions by the government is buisness as usual, but a rarity to feel accountability for their decisions.

Barbarity defined a brother’s relationship, planting a seed of hostility in both. Fear of an uprising may provide safety for now. They slept well, finding comfort knowing their horrendous actions would be kept secret. But to let a prodigy become one with loathing was going to have dire consequences.
One With Malice
There are many times over that Sasuke has proved he would die for the same village that devastated his life. A place that championed the Will of Fire only to provide abhorrence. At a time, playing ninja for The Leaf had its purpose, but these tears crave retribution.

Pain shovelled out Sasuke’s untapped potential. However, the strength he chases praises the annihilation of oneself. He’s on a road to make his murderous fantasy a reality, and I cant really fault him. The only true innocent in the equation was left to hold the weight of the others’ transgressions, even his own sibling.

An oath that, if fulfilled, would purge his soul into the abyss. The more time goes on, the darker his aura grows. The once polite and soft-spoken child is now a demonic figure that lurks in the shadows. With despair being his philosophy, death will surely follow, maybe even his own.
